Advanced Password Manager 2.33
Old versionsSee all
Currently, using the Internet requires the use of passwords for nearly all our activities online, from using our e-mail account to check our social media to make or receive online payments. This program helps you to protect your passwords and other sensitive information that you may have stored on your computer, such as credit card numbers, telephone numbers, contacts, and so on.
The program performs a complete scan of your system, focusing on four main areas: Passwords, Credit card numbers, Profiles/telephone numbers, and Social Security numbers, detecting those data that can be stolen or hacked to make unauthorized payments on your behalf, to make fraudulent calls to your contacts, or to steal your identity in some other form. The speed of this scan will depend on the size of your hard drive and on the speed of your processor. When the analysis is finished, the program shows the results divided by type, folders, and by Internet browsers. To protect the data found, you will need to create a free account that will allow you to store all your passwords in an online vault to which you can access using a master password. You can also install an add-on to your browser(s) to manage this account.
In general, the program is used to protect all your passwords and store them in one place. Also, the cost is not too high. The main disadvantage is that the online vault can be hacked and the information stolen. Anyway, if you manage a lot of passwords and other sensitive information and don't want to store it on your computer, then you may want to give it a try.
- Useful for protecting sensitive data
- Microsoft-approved software
- Nice and easy-to-use interface
- The passwords detected are stored online so they can be hacked
